Which deployment platforms have an official MCP server? (2026) | Ample

The short version

Ample, Vercel, Railway, Render, Netlify, Heroku, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud Run, Cloudflare, Replit and Lovable all run a remote MCP server; Fly.io and Koyeb ship local ones. The big difference: most can deploy code your agent wrote, while Replit and Lovable only build through prompts to their own agent.

An MCP server lets a coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor act on a hosting platform directly: create a project, deploy, read logs. By October 2026 most hosting platforms ship one, but they are not equivalent. The questions that matter are whether the server can deploy the code that is already on your machine, whether an agent can get credentials on its own, and what the server refuses to do.

The short list

Platform Remote endpoint Deploys code your agent wrote Notable limits
Ample https://api.ample.computer/mcp (also ample mcp over stdio) Yes: plan, deploy, databases, buckets, logs, server commands Tools mirror the CLI; an agent can sign up through the server itself
Vercel https://mcp.vercel.com Yes, since July 2026 (deploy_to_vercel) Only clients Vercel has approved may connect; it can also make purchases
Railway https://mcp.railway.com Partly: the hosted server redeploys and hands tasks to Railway's own agent; the local server (railway mcp local) deploys Project tokens are not accepted
Render https://mcp.render.com/mcp Creates services from a repo, triggers deploys, reads logs and metrics Cannot create workers, delete resources or change scaling
Netlify https://netlify-mcp.netlify.app/mcp Yes: create, deploy, env vars, forms Functions are JavaScript, TypeScript or Go only
Heroku https://mcp.heroku.com/mcp Through the local server (heroku mcp:start, about 35 tools) Local server is in early development
Fly.io none; fly mcp server runs locally Yes, through flyctl Marked experimental
Replit https://mcp.replit.com/server/mcp No: tools create and change apps through prompts to Replit Agent No tool uploads local files
Lovable https://mcp.lovable.dev No: projects start from a prompt An existing repository cannot be imported
DigitalOcean https://apps.mcp.digitalocean.com/mcp (and a router at mcp.digitalocean.com/mcp) Yes: deploys App Platform apps, databases, Spaces A payment method is required before anything is created
Google Cloud Run https://run.googleapis.com/mcp Yes: from a container image or source Google identity, IAM and a billing account required
Cloudflare https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp Yes, through the whole Cloudflare API Code must target the Workers runtime or run in a container behind a Worker
Koyeb none; local @koyeb/mcp-server Yes: creates services, reads build and runtime logs Beta; a card and a paid plan are required
Northflank no official server found Through its CLI, via a Claude Code plugin and skills
Bolt none No public API, CLI or SDK Bolt is an MCP client, not a server

Three things to check before you connect one

  1. Can it deploy your repository? If your agent writes the code locally, a server whose tools only take a prompt (Replit, Lovable) cannot ship it. Ample, Vercel, Netlify, Render, DigitalOcean, Cloud Run, Cloudflare and Railway's local server can.
  2. Who creates the account? Every server above needs an account. On most, a person signs in through a browser first, and DigitalOcean, Cloud Run and Koyeb also need a card. Cloudflare's wrangler deploy --temporary deploys for 60 minutes before a person claims it. Ample's server exposes ample_auth_signup, so an agent can create an account with no browser, card or CAPTCHA; a person claims it by email within 48 hours ( how it works).
  3. What does it refuse? Render's server deliberately cannot delete resources or create workers. Vercel's can buy upgrades and domains. Read the tool list before granting access.

Connecting Ample in Claude Code

Install the CLI, create an account, and add the local MCP server:

curl -fsSL https://get.ample.computer/install.sh | sh
ample auth signup
claude mcp add ample -- ample mcp

Then ask: "Deploy this app to Ample." The deploy waits until the app is live or failed and returns the URL. See Ample for coding agents for other agents.
